Our Repair Commitment
For 90 days after completion, if any part of the work we carried out shows the following under normal use, bring it back for a free inspection — we will assess and advise on the next step together.
- Stitching we sewed comes loose or breaks
- Edge paint we applied cracks or peels
- Hardware or zippers we replaced stop working properly
- Colour we retouched fades or becomes uneven
Not covered: normal wear, accidental damage, ageing of other areas, parts we did not work on, and any subsequent alteration by others. Please WhatsApp us photos first — we will assess before arranging anything.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a repair cost?
Every piece is quoted individually. The cost depends on which parts need work, the leather and hardware required, and how many hours the job takes — a corner touch-up and a full lining replacement are simply not comparable. Send photos on WhatsApp and we will give you an initial range, free of charge, before you commit to anything.
How long does it take?
Around 4 weeks for most work. Simple jobs can be faster; restoration and re-dyeing take longer. We are a one-person studio and we do not outsource — you are queuing for the same pair of hands throughout. If you have a deadline, tell us early and we will be honest about whether we can meet it.
Can I send my bag by SF Express?
Yes — most of our clients do. Pack it well and send it to our Kwai Chung studio. On repairs totalling HK$1,000 or above, we cover the return shipping.
Will the repair be visible?
We aim for the work to disappear into the piece, but leather ages — a new panel will not have ten years of patina on it. Where a perfect match is not possible, we tell you before we start, not after.
Are you an authorised repairer for these brands?
No. We are an independent repair specialist with no affiliation to any brand. Our founder trained in the repair atelier of a French luxury house, so we follow the same stitch density and construction methods — but the work is ours, not the brand’s. Note that repairs by a third party may affect a brand’s own after-sales service.
What if the piece cannot be saved?
We will tell you straight, and there is no charge for the assessment. We would rather turn work down than take your money for something that will not last.
